Artist statment and CV

Today at 11 am, we had a workshop on artist statment work shop and I was told that mine had no information on it about “me” or is badly written as she had no idea of what it is I was writing about. “very weak”!!

There for I really have to start doing something about this. As I did not think it was all that bad!

On the web site:
Chinese by birth educated in the UK from the age of 10, 15 years in Hong Kong and 15 years in the UK.  She is now working on her project she called it “A line”.

A line, she is trying to understand.  It is the line she subjectively chosen as a subject to investigate, “investigate” so she thinks this is being objective, when she knows she is not.  She drew a line repeatedly on a 76 mm x 76 mm “Post it sized paper”.  She records and records as many ways as she can, there… she realises it started with the mind…

Toi Ng started studying “The Line” in 1999. This year, 2009, in her MA in Digital Arts, her research continues with “The Line”. By adding the number ‘1000’ into her study she limits the way in which she works… so she thinks…
